Facility Use Policy
The Rising Star Baptist Church grants the use of church facilities to individuals, community groups and organizations. Community groups and organizations who seek to use our facilities must be for the betterment of the individual through fellowship and education consistent with a Christian place of worship . Facilities are available for the following purposes: weddings, funerals, and other special events. We do not permit the use of our church for wedding receptions.
It is our desire that the property and facility that God has entrusted to us be used to serve the cause of Jesus Christ, His people, our neighbors, and our community. We want these properties and facilities to experience maximum use for the greatest service according to our vision, core values and goals.
The use of facilities, grounds, and equipment shall be confined to Christian organizations, educational and social service agencies, and other character building functions whose work is in harmony with the purpose and mission of the Rising Star Baptist Church.
Individuals, groups or organizations seeking use of our facilities will be assessed a fee to cover any costs or expenses to the Church in making the facility available. The fee shall be due and payable prior to confirmation. Any individual, group or organization using the facilities of the Church shall agree to abide in good faith by the Church's rules and regulations, which may be amended from time to time. Failure to follow the rules and regulations in good faith may cause the Church to deny access to that particular individual, group or organization.
